When active on eligible public pages, it records only the network page path, public title, site and low-cardinality recommendation activity such as an actual view or click. It does not send names, contact details, account IDs, messages, reservation details, search terms, query strings or fragments. You can withdraw the network choice on the Network page; this stops future network collection in this browser and clears its accessible network cookies, but does not erase reports already processed by Google.

Use GA4 preferences on public pages to decline or withdraw permission. Declining prevents GA4 from loading; withdrawing stops future GA4 collection in this browser and clears accessible GA4 cookies, but does not erase previously processed reports. This choice controls GA4 only, not existing platform analytics or essential login/storage services.
